| I find it infuriating in games, that allow enemies to attack you from above or below, that don't allow you to shoot where you look!
Having to press a bloody key defeats the purpose of using a mouse, in my view.
Anyway, if you play GL Quake and it pisses you off too then....
Create a txt file in your ID1 directory of the game.
Rename it to autoexec.cfg
Put this text into it and save it.
+mlook
v_centremove 10
sv_aim 1
It'll help a bunch!

Location: Hull, UK | The real issue here is actually playing GLQuake, in all these years I have never once used a system that can run it. Got WinQuake to run once, but it didn't work when I tried again. |

Nor do Athlons... |

Location: Hull, UK | Most games don't have any major issues, it's more that ID couldn't code worth shit, sucks that a lot of their conventions became something of a norm really, humanity really does have a tendency to always pick the worst option available.
Put it this way, you definitely won't be worrying about the 60fps thing in any IDTech engine, you'll be lucky to see it run into double figures for long.

| Aye, I've been trying to get the in-game music working in Q-1 but failing. I did manage to get it to work in Q-II but I forget how I managed it!
Seems ID forgot too, they include Q-II + the mission packs on a bonus disk of Q-IV that I have, they didn't include any music at all, tossers. |

Location: Hull, UK | I have never once had music work in Quake. We also found that some discs (strangely multiple games from that time) were pressed without track indexes too, Quake being one of them. |
