Too true, I just put the SSD out of an old AMD machine, running Win 7 Home, into my Thinkpad T430. The bloody thing booted right up, found most of the drivers and didn't even complain about activation!

All my old, crap, games work on win7. They wouldn't do so on win10 without compromises.

Considering these dates and strong Win7 enthusiast community i can surely say that Windows 7 will easily outlive marginal windows 10 with it's eol around 2025.
