| So... It is that month of the year (joking dark), and I want to wish you all a good time ahead the next 24 days.
Here in northern Jutland (Denmark) is is snowing right now. And I hopw for at least one meter of snow.
But then again, it is Denmark and we are surrounded with water, so the chances are really low.
However.... All that aside. Merry Christmas 2021 to all of you.

Location: Hull, UK | Indeed, merry bloody Christmas.
Can't get a good photo, but I have modified a cheap fiber optic tree that used RGB LEDs to use flickering red, yellow and orange ones. Now it looks like it's on fire.

| Hope you all got good gifts and had good food.....
Though one thing just struck me from the clear sky. We all know that santa dude. Well... In different cultures he lives in different places. Like in Norway he lives in Norway. In Finland he lives in Lapland and here in Denmark he lives on Greenland.
However, with all that global warming, the parents in North America will have to tell their children that there will be no Santa in the future, because the North Pole melted and Santa drowned with all his crew of elf's.

| Happy new year.....
I spend new years evening at my childrens mothers place, alongside the children of course and their grand mother (childrens mothers, mother)
I did the first serving, and the desert. First we had tuna mouse, wich were tuna from can mixed with sour cream mayo, raw onions and tons of dill. It was served in a bowl, and there were cray fish tails, shrimps, a nice sourcream/lime dressing and lime quatered that we would add more lime juice on the servings. And then some luke warm ciabatta baguette cut into pieces that we would eat with it all.
The main servings, were a kind of tenderloin/bacon stew in cream sauce with parsil. Rice and a mixed salad. This was the one my childrens mother cooked.
For desert I had made this chokolate mouse from scratch. With an extremely high content of cocoa, making it able to be baked. I baked 1/3 of it, and when the cake was room temperature, I added the rest on the top and froze it. Kind of a mix between a chokolate cake, ice cream and chokolate mouse.
During the Danish queens speech, we had champagne and the rest of the bottle were used for the tuna mouse. My daughter who is 13, were alowed to take a tiny zip of the champagn, in order to experience how tunamouse and champagne tasted together. She actually liked the taste combination. I think it is important to teach my children how these things taste together. My son is too young, however I think it is important to broaden my childrens horizon in regards to taste, so they will know what the good stuff is all about, when they are adults. Better they understand and experience these tastes, before they just jump into the deep end of the pool and get pissed on alcohol, just because it might be "cool" to get wasted. Better enjoy the finer things in life. As they can always get pissed on pilsner when they are 18.
However.... It was a quiet night for me. Nothing really happened and I did not get drunk.... I so miss a drinking buddy from time to time.
